Thread: offline installation in ubuntu

hi guys, downloaded packages ubuntu website on pen-drive want install on ubuntu karmic using synaptic package manager , whenever try install them shows check network connection .however dont have internet home , want directly install these packages pendrive .how can so.

...not sure in file format files (packages), synaptic acknowledges file install source list , unless of course have made cd in such way recognized synaptic such.

unlike .deb , .tar, these type of packages can installed other applications.

had came across process of making synaptic recognizable cd, but
haven't done again since gutsy, , not sure gutsy process work in karmic.

Installation database is corrupt

dear all,   last month installed trial version of cs3 on pc , when decided install extended version of cs3, it  didn't install.  learned adobe use wincs3clean script, downloaded , ran on computer, using level 1. after tried installing extended version of cs3 got message "installation database corrupt" , can't install cs3.  can me , let me know how solve problem? use windows, xp 2. appreciate help. charleshhh install what... disc or download   if download... rename original , download again... downloads corrupted More discussions in Photoshop Windows (read only) adobe

esp8266 (nodemcu 0.9) client.write très lent ???
