reconnect photos question

i accidently deleted 1 of user folder had of pictures in it

tried restore , because user folder didn't come back  today i

accidently stumbled on "reconnect" missing photos function in adobe

photo shop, of deleted photos displayed thumbnails "reconnect"

but of course there wasn't match reconnect on right side of screen

but tells me photos somewhere on pc

if thumbnail displayed.  anyone, please, tell me how can recover photos.

this happened right when mother died , wasn't thinking straight , now

lost of pictures of her.  grateful help

first, should posting in photoshop album starter edition forum.

 

 

 

unfortunately, album stores thumbnail preview of images, , link original files on hard drive.

 

if don't have backup of files, , can't find them on hard drive (even in recycle bin, example), you're pretty out of luck.

 

depending on how big thumbnails are, might consider taking screen shot of them, last resort , produce cheap imitations of original images. (if you're not familiar taking screen shots, see this tutorial.)

 

there data recovery tools, freeundelete, might consider using.

there data recovery specialist services can pay for, expensive. if intend go route of paying recover images, you need shut down computer , not use further until after data recovery people out.
