Extending audio past a slide

i have 16-second audio clip starts on first slide, , want continue until it's done, regardless of when user advances next slide. (currently, advancing next slide stops clip.)  how keep playing completion? saw few options when first started project, a) tried didn't help, , b) seems crazy have go , restart project find options - don't seem available anywhere else (unless i'm missing ...)

you can achieve 2 ways.

 

1. insert audio file of 16 secs project background audio. option present in menu item "audio > background audio". make sure uncheck option 'loop audio' in background audio dialog.

 

2. distribute audio file of 16 secs across slides. while inserting audio on slide-1, promted 'audio split' dialog. can make use of required 'audio slpit' option distribute audio file.
