Issues with Setting up an Email Endpoint

i trying setup email endpoint process have tested using workspace. have added button pdf form send email trigger process using email endpoint. have reviewed other relevant discussions in forums still there few things arent clear in head.

 

1.      while testing form , process using workspace, had created xfaform variable input first activity invokes process using workspace. when trying acheive same email enpoint input no longer xfaform right?

2.      noticed in previous discussions there reference creating document variable , assigning document input. while submitting form email address used endpoint, should configure send attachment pdf or xdp? i.e. should document variable set pdf or xdp file?

3.     input parameter mappings have 2 entries:
     a. myformdocument - should set depending o
n if have attach pdf or xdp file input seems required field?. curently have set variable - "*'*"
     b. document - how different myformdocument input parameter , should set to?

i running out of ideas, appreciated.

i doesn't matter. document variable can contain pretty anything. depends want do. if  you're interested in data, send xdp. easier inspect data , manipulate since it' xml.

 

if submit entire pdf, email bigger, won't have recreate pdf server side. have extract data if want it. need entire pdf if you're planning on using digital signature.

is myformdocument input documentform variable can use workspace initiate? wouldn't suggest use task manager (workspace) , email endpoint on same process reason. can't set document form variable email endpoint.

 

what can create separate process has 1 input document variable. create email endpoint on process. set input document variable -> *.*

 

then call workspace process subprocess new process. way can use setvalue , set document form input  variable expected workspace process.
