Thread: GRUB screen after update!

hi,

have used wubi install ubuntu 9.10 , working fine until rebooted , black screen saying grub @ top.

have searched around internet , have found this:
  1. sh:grub>set root=(loop0)
  2. sh:grub>linux /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.31-14-generic root=/dev/sda1 loop=/ubuntu/disks/root.disk ro
  3. sh:grub>initrd /boot/initrd.img-2.6.31-14-generic
  4. sh:grub>boot
now says loop=/ubuntu/disks/root.disk location if installed @ c:\ubuntu on system f:\ubuntu have change?

those instructions work of time , temporary solution. permanent solution see:

replace "c:" "f:"

Installation database is corrupt

dear all,   last month installed trial version of cs3 on pc , when decided install extended version of cs3, it  didn't install.  learned adobe use wincs3clean script, downloaded , ran on computer, using level 1. after tried installing extended version of cs3 got message "installation database corrupt" , can't install cs3.  can me , let me know how solve problem? use windows, xp 2. appreciate help. charleshhh install what... disc or download   if download... rename original , download again... downloads corrupted More discussions in Photoshop Windows (read only) adobe

esp8266 (nodemcu 0.9) client.write très lent ???
