Can't inject into Jpeg2000 file

hi all,

 

     hopefully, simple question.  when calling canputxmp(), error can't inject xmp jpeg2000 file.  open file using:

 

      ifileoptions = kxmpfiles_openforupdate | kxmpfiles_openusepacketscanning;

      bfileopened = oxmpfile.openfile(simagefilename, kxmp_unknownfile, ifileoptions);

 

and returns fine.

 

     idea's going on?  there better error message "can't inject xmp"?
