Flexographic Distortion/Scaling Causing Problems... Help!

hello.

i having issue printing end of indesign (cs3 version 5.04).

i'm trying distort document flexographic printing purposes.

the dots in screened areas changing causing image change/degrade.

the screened areas in text it's noticable because hard edges of text become jagged dots after 'scaling' distortion (print>setup>options>scale>height%>*unchecked constrained proportions).

image degredation present  in film after doing in indesign. quality fine printing @ constrained 100%.

this problem not happening when send same image in quark document scaled down using there flexscale extension.

the document consists of placed photoshop.tiff file of greyscale screened type, nothing crazy.

any & appreciated .... ideas & theories well...

out of curiosity, kind of rip/device printing to? can't seem duplicate printer is, believe, ignoring screening information indesign, , using own. printing separations, composite, or in-rip separations?

here's possible workaround may or may not prove acceptable you. export page(s) pdf. then, place pdf in new indesign document. scale placed pdf dissimilar x , y scaling factors in new document, , print @ 100% x 100%. since using cs3 (and not earlier version), try placing indesign document in new document, , scaling there (without need of pdf export). either of avoid problem?
