whitehouse.gov flash effect

hi, need know how create effect of whitehouse.gov or wolftrap.org images "fade" out, lack of better word. co-worker able in cs3, doesn't know how in cs4. help?

hi. yes can tell how . in flash cs4 there preset tweens available if isn't looking can create own. creating own tween relatively easy. if haven't convert image symbol right clicking on , clicking convert symbol. right click again , click create motion tween. if go timeline should insert @ least 48 frames 2 seconds @ 24 frames per second. click on last frame in timeline , rightclick , click insert keyframe. great! have keyframe can tween , if save project can use basic template future. go new keyframe created , click on image if isn't selected , go properties. go color effects , change color none color alpha , set 0 percent if want totally dissapear. can find right setting you. values 0 100 percent. hope helps.
