Thread: kernel troubles

hello everyone, noticed karmic install (upgraded jaunty) booted kernel 2.6.27-16, though had updated 2.6.27-19.

decided uninstall 2.6.27-16 , old versions, entry in grub disappeared, can't boot.

found out chroot in livecd , installed linux-image, surprised installed 2.6.31-19. installed grub-pc , said detected image, plus windows install.

unfortunately, didn't make difference, old grub still boots no ubuntu entry.

wonder how can fix this?

*edit: got boot adding entry list file in /boot/grub. , i'm not sure ever had 2.6.27-16 installed since residual configs suggest otherwise.

still don't know why don't have grub 2 booting though.

Installation database is corrupt

dear all,   last month installed trial version of cs3 on pc , when decided install extended version of cs3, it  didn't install.  learned adobe use wincs3clean script, downloaded , ran on computer, using level 1. after tried installing extended version of cs3 got message "installation database corrupt" , can't install cs3.  can me , let me know how solve problem? use windows, xp 2. appreciate help. charleshhh install what... disc or download   if download... rename original , download again... downloads corrupted More discussions in Photoshop Windows (read only) adobe

esp8266 (nodemcu 0.9) client.write très lent ???
