Unable to connect to the database:Could not connect to MySQL Joomla 1.5 STABLE - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi, attached screen of problem in title. trying install joomla! 1.5 stable on top of web.developer server 2.0 community version. server works fine joomla 1.0, 1.5 keeps refusing go past point. tried suggestions in other topics , in manual, no avail. if try manual installation, things turn wilder. myphp reckons there's no db install (tried both joomla! , sample_data) etc, etc.

if knows how solve problem, please let me know.

after having reinstalled web.developer , joomla 1.0 , 1.5 on 20 times, have discovered there many registry entries block everything. apache, php, mysql, drop rubbish registry, makes next impossible determine entry stuffing up. , if 1 tries delete them all, makes worse. , not all. cleaned theregistry , still 1 apache file blocking reinstallation. "apache installed" says "please uninstall first."

i came conclusion still not mature software. should able re-install many times need or want , suffer no problems. , upgrade far simple. bug-laden , far stable. pity because great idea. not enough. needs lot of work before can declared stable. because not.

i blame web.developer more, joomla not far behind. once reinstall 3 times, done. config files aplenty , leave traces on pc, rendering further tests next impossible. can't go 1.0 more.

the option left format hd , redo clean install. , hope best. ain't gonna happen here. i'll have works better. unless in dev team comes solution. , seems remote.

Installation database is corrupt

dear all,   last month installed trial version of cs3 on pc , when decided install extended version of cs3, it  didn't install.  learned adobe use wincs3clean script, downloaded , ran on computer, using level 1. after tried installing extended version of cs3 got message "installation database corrupt" , can't install cs3.  can me , let me know how solve problem? use windows, xp 2. appreciate help. charleshhh install what... disc or download   if download... rename original , download again... downloads corrupted More discussions in Photoshop Windows (read only) adobe

esp8266 (nodemcu 0.9) client.write très lent ???
