(i not skilled in photo corrections.) researched photo threads in id forum , came across couple suggestions tried.

the suggestion of exporting pdf , printing improved quality of photo oraexamplepost.jpgnge border on top , text printed out lighter means won't consistent other pages. using cs2 version , i'm not knowledgeable in color managment, says in id cs2 has consistent color managment between programs.

my printer epson r2400. file have attached scan of printed documents , hope visual viewers enough see i'm talking about. paper cream colored card stock laminate protect spilled drinks etc., don't expect print photo quality excellent, acceptable.

hi patty, , welcome back.

can give more information? looks case of wrong transparency blend space, don't see transparency on page @ first glance, photo contains transparency.

what color profile used save photo?

are there layers in photo?

did make page placing cropped photo , setting type in id, or did add type in photoshop?

do see little checkerboard transparency icon next page in pages panel?

a quick test try turn on overprint preview view menu in id. expect color shift on screen. go edit > transparency blend space choose other one. color better or worse?
