Is Emptying of a Horizontal List on click Possible?

hey guys

 

so have following structure

 

<mx:horizontallist id="list">      <mx:itemrenderer>           <mx:component>             <mx:vbox >                <mx:image />                <mx:label />                </mx:vbox>           </mx:component>      </mx:itemrenderer> </mx:horizontallist> 

now loading pictures on click of button..

 

now click of button takes me different state/page

 

when click on button me picture's state pictures still loaded in hlist / vbox.

 

what want if click on button "show pictures" gets state (above) , clears hlist / vbox of anything. because there button user press load photos..

 

how this? looking properties of list.???? not find useful  clear it. hope made myself clear.
