Unable to detect FTP root folder - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i experiencing problem installation of joomla 1.5 ftp enabled. allow me proceed without ftp, use functionality if possible.

i enter username/password, enable ftp system layer , click on find autofind ftp path.

i error "unable auto detect root folder".

if try enter root joomla installation manually enter /public_html/ because installation folder because supposed put files http://www.mydomain.com/public_html/

if that, error: "the specified ftp directory not directory of joomla! installation"

is bug in joomla or hosting provider related issue? or both?

the same problem on shared hosting (ispcp hosting)
btw, ftp username: user@domain.com  ???

Installation database is corrupt

dear all,   last month installed trial version of cs3 on pc , when decided install extended version of cs3, it  didn't install.  learned adobe use wincs3clean script, downloaded , ran on computer, using level 1. after tried installing extended version of cs3 got message "installation database corrupt" , can't install cs3.  can me , let me know how solve problem? use windows, xp 2. appreciate help. charleshhh install what... disc or download   if download... rename original , download again... downloads corrupted More discussions in Photoshop Windows (read only) adobe

esp8266 (nodemcu 0.9) client.write très lent ???
