vertical scrolling (panning) with mouse wheel in AI

i using illustrator cs3, , upgraded apple os x 10.5. use logitech wireless laser mouse. has scroll wheel tilts left right.

 

i not sure if happened upgrade or other reason, able pan / scroll left right using scrolling tilt-wheel on mouse.

 

tilting wheel right pan display right, using hand tool. tilting wheel left pan left.

 

now, when tilt right or left, mouse nothing unless hovering on something. if hover on vector graphic , right-tilt selecting (basically left-button mouse click). if hover on group of objects , left-tilt, double-click (enters isolated group mode).

 

i hate this! want pan left , right. can't find anywhere can alter preferences mouse scroll/tilt wheel.

 

anyone have ideas on one?

little known keyboard shortcuts scrolling on mac:

command+control+k (or f) = scroll right

command+control+l (or g) = scroll left

option+control+k (or f) = scroll down

option+control+g (or l) = scroll up

 

add shift of above smaller increments in scrolling. these work on mac cs2 or newer. i'm not sure older versions. don't believe work on pc (with modifiers considered), if others can confirm or dispute that, i'd appreciate it.

 

you may need assign key commands mouse preference pane.

Installation database is corrupt

dear all,   last month installed trial version of cs3 on pc , when decided install extended version of cs3, it  didn't install.  learned adobe use wincs3clean script, downloaded , ran on computer, using level 1. after tried installing extended version of cs3 got message "installation database corrupt" , can't install cs3.  can me , let me know how solve problem? use windows, xp 2. appreciate help. charleshhh install what... disc or download   if download... rename original , download again... downloads corrupted More discussions in Photoshop Windows (read only) adobe

esp8266 (nodemcu 0.9) client.write très lent ???
