Thread: HP/Compaq 8510p Install Problems

hi, picked hp/compaq 8510p laptop recently, , installed ubuntu 9.04 dual-boot system. i've found 2 problems:

1.) suddenly, firefox doesn't open in either wired or wireless mode.

2.) when try update software, message states need free 237 mb on / partition. if @ partitioning live cd , gparted, shows partition containing 2385 mb, , not allow me change size. size seems small me, although used automatic partitioning feature. there 40 gb available ubuntu on machine, , did defrag original ntfs partition before installing ubuntu.

have reinstall ubuntu manual partition? or ?

info can provide. excellent laptop otherwise.

update: reinstalled , fixed firefox problem, unable manually resize / partition
without deleting windows partition , taking on entire drive. how can this?

Installation database is corrupt

dear all,   last month installed trial version of cs3 on pc , when decided install extended version of cs3, it  didn't install.  learned adobe use wincs3clean script, downloaded , ran on computer, using level 1. after tried installing extended version of cs3 got message "installation database corrupt" , can't install cs3.  can me , let me know how solve problem? use windows, xp 2. appreciate help. charleshhh install what... disc or download   if download... rename original , download again... downloads corrupted More discussions in Photoshop Windows (read only) adobe

esp8266 (nodemcu 0.9) client.write très lent ???
