Server reads index.php first.. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i have little issue client needs 1 page show whilst upgrading site joomla cms server hosting off of automatically reads index.php first can't work on joomla site in background..it's out there coming site see.. don't know do..it's radio station website there constant stream of visitors..it problem if people see everything... ideas, suggestions, solutions anyone..?

first thing comes mind i'd redirect in .htaccess make base site http://www.something.com goto http://www.something.com/index.htm

or muck around parse order of webserver, sounds pretty temporary may not want this.

google on htaccess , redirect - loads of links on how do.

but if people have book marked home page previously?  still access work in progress - want that?

Installation database is corrupt

dear all,   last month installed trial version of cs3 on pc , when decided install extended version of cs3, it  didn't install.  learned adobe use wincs3clean script, downloaded , ran on computer, using level 1. after tried installing extended version of cs3 got message "installation database corrupt" , can't install cs3.  can me , let me know how solve problem? use windows, xp 2. appreciate help. charleshhh install what... disc or download   if download... rename original , download again... downloads corrupted More discussions in Photoshop Windows (read only) adobe

esp8266 (nodemcu 0.9) client.write très lent ???
