Thread: Jaunty update + now firefox DIED!

hi,
have jaunty 9.04 , sitting online yesterday , update manager came up. let thing usual, seemed have issue firefox related package (having branding?) , little flipping-out icon showed in tray saying package broke. did poking around nothing hardcore since don't know i'm doing, , tried restarting few times see if help. did not, , firefox launcher turned missing puzzle brick , clicking causes small window come following message:

^

so might have tried uninstall firefox synaptic or something, created more errors , dont think worked anyway.

inside synaptic, there 1 listed "broken" package in broken filter. firefox branding amd64 , goodness. if need know more information of these things me out, ask , can find in more exact terms.

whole system bothered , i'm unhappily using opera! appreciated. did nothing bring on other let upgrade manager thing. in advance!!

first of all, don't put opera. install google chrome until problem fixed. unfortunately, that's can offer... don't know how fix it. suggestion? install karmic...it absolutely rocks!
