Ligatures drop out when printing from ID CS3 to a PS3 printer

just got new dell 5110cn , issue driving me nuts.

 

indesign cs3, vista 64-bit. using ps3 driver 5110cn, not pcl driver.

 

i have disabled device font substitution in driver. have gone font substitution table , set "don't substitute."

 

when print directly id cs3, "fi" ligatures in words "certificate" or "verification" drop out.

 

the font in question "times".

 

if export document pdf, ligatures view fine , print fine pdf.

 

illustrator-created eps files word "certificate" dropped id cs3 print fine when printed direct.

 

i can print ms word documents have word "certificate" in times directly printer , print fine (but know, word isn't using same ligature method).

 

while new printer, behavior apears isolated indesign (printing direct adobe illustrator fine well).

 

what gives???

did check download ppd fonts checkbox in print dialog?

Installation database is corrupt

dear all,   last month installed trial version of cs3 on pc , when decided install extended version of cs3, it  didn't install.  learned adobe use wincs3clean script, downloaded , ran on computer, using level 1. after tried installing extended version of cs3 got message "installation database corrupt" , can't install cs3.  can me , let me know how solve problem? use windows, xp 2. appreciate help. charleshhh install what... disc or download   if download... rename original , download again... downloads corrupted More discussions in Photoshop Windows (read only) adobe

esp8266 (nodemcu 0.9) client.write très lent ???
