Memory usage increases over time - got to over 1gb

over last several weeks imac 3.06ghz has been running slower , slower.  thought 1 cause low ram.  have 4gb installed.  ran activity monitor , showed lightroom (version 2.3) using on 1gb of ram.  quit lightroom , when restarted it, ram usage showed 300mb.  more usage showing on 800mb.

 

what's this?

 

could else affecting overall system performance think swapping virtual memory , causing slowdowns.  haven't searched tools monitor usage of virtual memory.

your ram usage doesn't seem out of line lr. 1 thing can keep activity monitor app open, , see how usage of main apps flows. also, quitting , restarting apps - , leaving quit can- can help. too.

Installation database is corrupt

dear all,   last month installed trial version of cs3 on pc , when decided install extended version of cs3, it  didn't install.  learned adobe use wincs3clean script, downloaded , ran on computer, using level 1. after tried installing extended version of cs3 got message "installation database corrupt" , can't install cs3.  can me , let me know how solve problem? use windows, xp 2. appreciate help. charleshhh install what... disc or download   if download... rename original , download again... downloads corrupted More discussions in Photoshop Windows (read only) adobe

esp8266 (nodemcu 0.9) client.write très lent ???
